  • Assist Shutdown Contractor in gathering all required Technical details / documents;
  • Liaise with Company’s other departments like Operations, Field Maintenance, Asset Integrity, HSE, Process etc. in gathering all relevant details during detailed planning.;
  • Material tracking & follow-up with Material planner, ensure quantity takeoffs are based on latest BOQ/BOM developed based on latest revisions of IFCs;
  • Review and approval of master (Integrated) schedule for shutdown capturing all high-level activities of operations, in-house maintenance, projects and Contractors scope of work;
  • Review and approve Contractor’s all deliverables pertaining to planning, strongly follow-up with Contractor for timely submission of all project documents;
  • Preparation of Daily / Weekly progress reports, visual presentations and other reports as advised by the Management;
  • Review and implementation of project schedule covering complete project scope in line with agreement scope;
  • Review and analyze progress updates, recovery plans, raise alerts through effective delay-analysis techniques and timely suggest corrective and preventive measures;
  • Ensure timely and accurate schedule updates in Primavera / EPPM;
  • Review and cross check Daily progress reports submitted by Shutdown Contractor, compile consolidated report after inclusion of Company’s other departments progress;
  • Identify and highlight critical path, critical procurement delays & push teams to expedite timely processing of service requests and timely availability of parts, materials and tools.

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferably Mechanical;
  • Must have a minimum of 10 years Maintenance experience in the Oil & Gas industry of which at least 5 years has been as a Planning Engineer leading overall planning functions of major Turnaround or routine Maintenance;
  • Shall have the ability and maturity to be the main Focal point for all Shutdown / Turnaround Contracts monitoring and status reporting;
  • Must be experienced working with Primavera P6 / EPPM project planning software packages with resource loading and scheduling to produce / review progress status reports;
  • Sound judgment in technical matters with good skills in comprehending drawings, engineering materials specifications and international standards;
  • Must be fully aware of all types of static and rotating equipment related to the Oil & Gas industry;
  • Must have a good knowledge of process plant and equipment, process piping, bolts, gaskets, hydro testing, NDTs, hydra tightening and close out dossiers;
  • Good knowledge of maintenance / construction codes, symbols and construction safety regulations;
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
