Document Expeditor


About this role

Brunel have partnered with one of Australia’s leading EPCM delivery service partners to recruit and place a suitably qualified Document Expeditor to support our client's professional team.

  • This opportunity will be offered on an initial 6-month contract
  • ASAP Start - working in the Perth Office
  • Competitive Hourly Rate

  • Prepare reports for Engineering/Management teams when and where required
  • Provide reliable and efficient Document Control assistance to Project team members
  • Continually review, improve and update expediting procedures when required
  • Responsible for all incoming and outgoing vendor documentation
  • Maintain vendor tracking spreadsheet; includes entering new items, assigning responsible parties, updating approval status of documents, closing out documentation requirements and signing off invoices of completed projects
  • Administer internal documentation system
  • Expedite all deliverables to ensure scheduled dates are met
  • Liaise with Project personnel and external vendors for any deliverable update/changes to contract schedule or scope
  • Posting changes to computerised or manual control records, releasing documents and notifying affected departments
  • Engaging various stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and implement required changes to documents
  • Checking that all documentation complies with specific client format and standards


  • 5+ years working in a similar position
  • Strong document expediting experience
  • Experience working in a EPCM environment
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to build effective internal and external networks
  • Easily adaptable to rules and supervision
